Even under the best of circumstances, making a short film is an expensive proposition. While UNCW helps students as best it can by providing equipment, there are numerous other expenses - renting additional equipment, securing locations, feeding cast and crew - that all must come out of student pocket. The only way any short film can truly be completed is through the support and generosity of those willing to donate either money, food, or other assistance in service of the art of cinema.
